An Event Planning contract is an agreement between an Event planning company and a customer regarding the planning of an event for the customer.

This document serves as a binding contract between ________________ (name of the customer) , hereafter known as the “customer” and _______________ (planning company’s name), hereafter known as “Planner,” signed ________________ (date of the day).

The Host desires to engage the services of the Planner for the _________ event on ____________ (date) at ____________(location}.

Both parties agree to abide by the following conditions;

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Event will be as follows:

________________________________________ (describe the event).

  1. The Planner will be in charge of the following aspects of the event: (Attach addendum detailing every aspect for which the Planner will be responsible.)
  2. The Customer will pay the Planner $____________  for all services rendered or ____________ hours of work, with the option to negotiate further payment for more hours worked. The Planner will be given an initial amount of $___________ for (fees, deposits, down payments, etc.) The Planner will receive the additional (amount)% at the completion of the event.
  3. In addition to event design, Planner’s duties will include but not be limited to (drawing up contracts for venue/vendor, putting down deposits, etc.)
  4. Necessary lodging/travel costs incurred by the Planner (will/will not) be covered by the Customer.
  5. The Planner agrees to use Customer’s company logo and no other where desired.
  6. The Customer agrees to acknowledge the Planner’s services in (place, aspect), including the Planner’s logo.
  7. The Customer will not enter into any contracts on behalf of the Planner or without the Planner’s knowledge and consent.
  8. If the Customer cancels within _____________(days) of the event they will be refunded _____________ (amount)% of the original fee. If the Customer cancels within ____________ (days) of the event they will receive ____________ (amount)%, and after ____________ (days) no refund will be given.
  9. If the Planner cancels, they will either provide a substitute planner or refund the full fee, minus the cost of non refundable deposits.

The Customer and the Planning company hereby agree to all the terms of the contract and abide by it from the date of the start of the contract.
